Hello there ...
I've been aware of spirits since I was 4 years old, chatting away with my imaginary friend like it was the most normal thing in the world. At 14, my spirit guide (though I didn’t know it at the time) spilled the beans that my best friend had kissed my boyfriend. Guess what? It was true! Talk about a supernatural gossip column! To say he is a Victorian gentleman he really likes a gossip ha-ha.
My big awakening happened when I was around 18, I say around as it was quite a long time ago now and my menopause fog brain is really letting me down as I write this. Anyway, I saw a gentleman standing at the end of my bed, he scared the living daylights out of me! That encounter led me to a local clairvoyant demonstration, where the medium told me I could also speak with spirits. She said I’d had a wake-up call and it was time to start working with them. I joined the local spiritualist church over 25 years ago and began fine-tuning my natural gifts with a lady called Judy who became my mentor for around 5 years.
In the early days, when Judy predicted I would be working on platform, I was adamant that it wouldn't happen. The thought of standing up in front of a large audience terrified me. It's hard for people to believe now, but I used to be so shy that I wouldn't say "Boo" to a goose! One of the first times I had to perform in my local area, I was so nervous that I was nearly sick moments before going on. However, spirit has never let me down, and now platform work has become my favourite way to connect. Passing on messages of love and support is something I never tire of.
I can feel, see, hear, and smell spirits around me most of the time. However, I’ve disciplined myself not to engage with them constantly because it's important for me to have my own space too. During my events, I usually sense exactly where I need to be and always provide validation of who I’m speaking with before delivering any messages. My approach is very down to earth and direct, which many people appreciate. The accuracy of the information I receive often surprises even me. I’ve been known to ruin a few surprises along the way!
I went professional around 20 years ago, juggling my work with raising my family, having some time out while going through a divorce, I needed to concentrate on my own life and not others during that stressful time. I came back stronger and a new woman. I am now remarried and I've been with my Husband for around 10 years, which I can honestly say have been the happiest I have ever been. I have his encouragement and support backing me and that means the world to me. Now that my twin daughters are 18, I’m focusing more on my career. It's my time to think about my dreams and desires. I'm organizing a lot more events in and around Lincolnshire for now, but watch this space as I'm planning on moving further afield. Talking about moving, Anyone want to buy my house? We are planning on moving soon, I was once told "shy girls get nowt" and its a rule I stick by these days. I’m still doing a few one-on-one readings, but I might phase them out as I dive deeper into the event world. Nothing is set in stone and I listen to my spirit team for their advice on this.
When I'm not working, I'm usually at home or spending time going out for meals with Rob (it's his favourite past time), with my family, volunteering, travelling or doing some form of craft. My latest hobby is clay pottery making, I'm loving it!
Looking forward to hopefully seeing you at an event soon. Come say hello!
